HistoryIn 1983, Shiv Batra and Dan Patsula opened INCA's doors with just three employees. INCA Engineers was small in size, but loaded with talent. Almost immediately, work began with WSDOT on preliminary design of the I-90 corridor, an eight-lane depressed freeway with landscaped overpasses, aerial ramps, retaining walls, and a cut-and-cover tunnel connecting Mercer Island to Seattle and Bellevue, Washington. With an established reputation for innovation in design and service delivery that never wavered, staff numbers increased and new service lines developed. INCA's reputation grew, along with client relationships. Today, INCA is larger in size, but still loaded with amazing talent. With INCA's purchase in February 2008 by Tetra Tech Inc., clients can tap into the resources of an extremely talented, capable family of companies. More about us
