Aerial Photogrammetry Control

Aerial PhotogrammetryINCA Engineers provides premarking and control for many design mapping and GIS projects. Many design mapping projects include the use of aerial mapping to economically collect data over large areas. This mapping is then supplemented with ground survey data to complete the project. INCA develops the scope of work and direct the efforts of an aerial photogrammetrist to ensure that the appropriate scale of photography is used for the desired detail. For the Pierce County Digital Orthophotography project, INCA uses airborne GPS control to provide a network of over 200 photo control points and to ensure that national mapping standards for 2-foot contour interval mapping was obtained.
