Tetra Tech INCA provided survey and mapping services for the construction of a new pier, extensive dredging of turning basin, and habitat mitigation. The project included pre-, interim- and post- hydrographic mapping using a fully integrated mapping system with GPS navigation along 4,000 feet of waterway. INCA provided pre-, interim-, and post-mapping of the ten-acre mitigation site. The total project involved removal and disposal of 1.6 million cubic yards of material, including hazardous material in selected areas, and the rehabilitation and extension of an existing pier to handle large container off-loading cranes.
