Teanaway River Topographic and Hydrographic Surveys |
|
|
INCA provided topographic mapping and river cross sections along the Teanaway river in Kittitas county, near Cle Elum , Washington at two different sites. Each site was approximately 4,500 feet along the river, with over 17 sections per site measuring an average of 1,500 linear feet. The sections were measured from 10 feet above the 100 year flood base elevation along the high bank side to 5 feet above the base elevation on the valley side of the river. The topographic survey was conducted at each site for a distance of approximately 500 feet along the river from the edge of water on the high bank side to 50 feet upland of the top of bank on the valley side. This work was in support of valley flood analysis and bank erosion mitigation engineering for the Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service.
