Tetra Tech INCA provided on-call surveying services for all three arms of Sound Transit: Regional Express, LINK Light Rail, and Sounder Commuter Rail. Survey elements included as-built surveys, boundary surveys for property line and easement locations, ALTA / ASCM land title surveys, legal descriptions and exhibits for easement, and fee ownership transfer. For the Seattle to Everett Commuter Rail project, INCA directed the efforts of several survey firms to provide aerial mapping of the entire route; detailed ground mapping for design in selected areas; right-of-way determination; utility records research and location; and geotechnical test site and wetland location on a fast-track basis to meet BNSF’s schedule. Projects for LINK included surveying services for Section C755 of light rail construction. INCA established horizontal and vertical control, identified construction limits and staging areas, and located wetlands. INCA provided layout for test bore locations, drilled shafts, walls, and pilings.
