Tetra Tech INCA provided surveying and base mapping for the Eastside Regional Pipeline. For the routing study, INCA provided right-of-way surveying for the preparation of base mapping for the preliminary design. 1”=40’, 2-foot contour interval topographic mapping was prepared using aerial photogrammetry to collect planimetric features and breaklines. Design mapping covered a 300-foot wide strip along the proposed pipeline route.
Mapping included right-of-way edge and centerlines of existing roadways, adjacent property ownership based upon assessor map records, driveways, edge of pavement, shoulder of road, significant trees, utilities, and fences. GPS horizontal and vertical control was established throughout the project and used to control the mapping.
