This project was a part of Sound Transit’s Regional Express Bus / HOV Systems Program. Sound Move, the region’s 10-year transit plan, included this $29 million project to construct transit ramps connecting I-90 to the Eastgate Park-and-Ride lot. These ramps increase the speed and reliability of commuters to and from the I-90 HOV lanes.

During the preliminary engineering and environmental documentation stage of this project, Tetra Tech INCA provided surveying and mapping, which included aerial mapping and GPS photo control, NA2002 spirit level vertical control and lane edge profiling, obscure area ground mapping, right-of-way retracement, and aerial mapping quality control for existing pavement superelevation verifications.
