Tetra Tech INCA provided project management support services to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Northwest Region Real Estate Services (RES) team, assisting real estate agents and management by providing budget monitoring and analysis services for the region’s active and future right-of-way acquisition projects. This support provides the RES Office and Northwest Region Program Management with accurate forecasting of expenditures to better anticipate and react to project changes.

The key features of this project are enhanced communication between RES staff and management on the forecast schedule and budget for right-of-way acquisition projects. Acquisitions were part of the design projects and are key to delivering these projects. In order to accurately plan project delivery at the program level, individual project forecasts and schedules need to be as accurate and up-to-date as possible. The project greatly assisted in overall program forecast.
