Tetra Tech INCA provided civil, structural and surveying services, which included stormwater design, erosion control design, traffic control, and utility coordination for a new park-and-ride lot in the median of I-5. The project design required coordination with a number of utility agencies relocating their facilities to new bridges across I-5. INCA developed a stormwater report following the new WSDOT Highway Runoff Manual requirements. The stormwater system for the project encompasses threshold discharge areas in the North Creek, Silver Lake, and Wood Creek basins. INCA incorporated City of Everett vegetated wetpond requirements into the design for the Silver Lake Creek water quality ponds. INCA designed a 24-inch water main to complete a link in the City of Everett’s water line grid, including sections suspended under the new bridges for 112th Street SE northbound and southbound I-5 and service to this park and ride.
