Structural and Mechanical Engineering

From inspection and renovation to preliminary and final design, INCA’s Structural and Mechanical Departments provide expertise in the design and analysis of marine facilities, concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, navigation lock and dam structures, industrial and residential buildings, and underground and waterfront structures. Additional services include seismic analysis and retrofit and repair of structures.  We have developed a diverse team of talented structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers whose complementary skills allow us to provide a tailored response to any heavy civil design project.

Civil and Transportation Engineering

INCA Engineers’ experience in civil/transportation projects, including major interchanges, highways, and interstate freeways; urban and rural arterial streets; and transit facilities spans more than 20 years.  Our Civil/Transportation Department houses a talented group of civil engineers, transportation planners/designers, and traffic engineers with extensive experience in a wide range of engineering services to complete capital improvement projects for state, county, and local agencies.

Survey and Mapping

The Survey and Mapping Department of INCA Engineers was first established in 1990 with a total of six surveyors and support staff.  Two months later, we landed our first job. We’ve taken off from there.  We can now dispatch up to five fully-equipped survey field crews. INCA offers the advantage of “field to finish” surveying and mapping techniques using the latest technology.

Our innovative and resourceful survey managers provide efficient, responsive services.  Working closely with on-site personnel, they often suggest methods that result in considerable time and cost savings.  Our field crews use the latest technology in electronic instruments, data collectors, GPS, and cellular communications to ensure that our clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost efficient manner.  Our dedicated survey vehicles contain the equipment and supplies necessary to handle varying site conditions.
